Choclate Donut

Time: 1.15 hours
Choclate Donut
Servings-15 donuts of medium size
Ingredients:
  •        175gm butter
  •         50 gm castor sugar
  •        2 eggs
  •       450gm maida ( white flour)
  •       1 tsp baking powder
  •       1 cup milk
  •       Dark chocolate
  •        Frying oil

Preparation
Beat butter and the castor sugar together.  Add eggs to it and stir the mixture well till it becomes fluffy.   Mix in white flour and baking powder and add it to the fluffy stuff. Then knead it like dough and add milk as per requirement, that is, depending on the quantity of dough. Now keep the dough in fridge for 15 to 20 minutes.

Put oil in a kadahi and heat it well. Spread some white flour on the slab and roll the entire dough. Thereafter cut the donuts with the donut cutter and fry it on low flame, then place it on tissue paper.  Now melt chocolate   in a double boiler.  You can add 2-3 tbs of milk to make it a semi liquid and to give chocolate a shiny look. Now dip the donuts from one side and let it dry.  Sprinkle castor sugar on it for garnishing.
