Tawa Paneer Masala |
Cooking time- 20 min
Serving- 3
INGREDIENTS:
- Paneer-250 gms, make 1/2 inch cube
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- Puree of 2 medium tomatoes
- 2 green chillies- chopped
- 1/2 tsp ajwain
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp amchur powder
- Oil-2tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Few coriander leaves chopped
METHOD:
- Take a nonstick tawa. Add oil and heat it. Add ajwain and fry them till brown.
- Add onion. Saute it for few minutes till translucent.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and saute it for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, amchur powder. Stir and saute it for 1 minute.
- Add tomato puree and salt. Mix well. If required add some water.
- Stir well. Saute it till oil start releasing from sides and masala has thickened little bit.
- Now add Paneer cubes and mix it well so that masala coats the paneer cubes well.
- Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
