Ingredients:
- 1 cup soya chunks
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 Onion (large)- sliced
- 1 green chilli- sliced
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp kashmiri mirch
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp jeera powder
- 1/2 turmeric powder
- 4-5 garlic cloves- chopped
- 1/2 inch ginger- chopped
- Salt as needed
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
- Boil soya chunks in lot of water with little salt for 5-7 minutes depending on the size, Leave them in the water for a while. Rinse them at least twice and squeeze off the excess water and keep it aside.
- Take a nonstick pan. Add tomatoes and onion together. Saute it then add chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli. Saute it till it becomes translucent.
- Add ginger garlic paste, salt, kashmiri mirch, corainder powder, jeera powder and turmeric powder and put 4-5 tbsp of water and mix them well. Put the flame on low and cover the pan.
- Fry till the raw smells goes away.
- Add soya chunks and mix them well.
- Cover with a lid and cook on a low heat for 3 to 5 minutes without burning. Add little water if required.
- Fry on a medium heat for 2 mins until a good aroma comes out.
- Garnish soya chunks fry with coriander leaves and serve hot.
